Shillong (Meghalaya), March 9: A low intensity IED blast near Harijan Colony occurred here at around 10.30 pm today.
According to reports, one person was injured in a blast.
The blast occurred was inside a small, abandoned tin structure and a few windowpanes were damaged.
Investigation revealed that the blast was caused by IED.
Police are still trying to ascertain the exact cause behind the blast.

Harijan Colony is adjacent to Mawlong Hat in the city and the number of people residing in that colony is around 300.
