Shillong (Meghalaya ), May 24 : The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) today announced the MBOSE SSLC or class 10 and the HSSLC or class 12 Arts stream results.
Anuj Chetry from Sherwood School, Tura, clinched the top position in the MBOSE 10th exam 2024 with an outstanding score of 575 marks (95.83%).Close on the heels is Aleytheia Syiemlieh from St. Margaret’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong, securing the second position with 574 marks. Congenial Kharsahnoh from Christian Academy, Shillong, clinched the third position with an impressive score of 571 marks.
30,207 of 54,134 students from 679 schools cleared the SSLC examination held in 157 centres.
In HSSLC ( Arts), Menangmankhraw Kharkongor of St Anthony’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong and Gaurav Bharali of St Edmund’s Higher Secondary School jointly shared the top positions, Tanisha Das and Salseng Marak, both of Don Bosco College (Hr Sec Section), Tura were placed in the second and third position by scoring 451 and 450 marks respectively.
A total of 79.76% of class 12 arts stream students have cleared the exam and 55.80% of SSLC students passed.
In a statement, CM Conrad Sangma, congratulated all the meritorious students of SSLC and HSSLC (Arts) of the State Board. “May each of you excel and make your mark in life. Encourage those who did not do well to not be disheartened but to work harder next year”. the statement added.
