Shillong (Meghalaya), June 8 : Though India and neighboring Bangladesh maintains a very cordial diplomatic relationship, intrusion by armed personnel of the Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) at a border village in Meghalaya has created tension along the international border.
According to information available, two BBG intruded personnel intruded the border village Rongara in South Garo Hills on Wednesday.
The video of villagers chasing away the two BGB personnel has been shared is on social media.
The reason behind the intrusion of is not yet clear.
The intrusion by the BGB troopers on Wednesday has created fear and anxiety amongst the residents of Rongara village.
In the viral video the villagers are seen chasing the two Bangladeshi border personnel.

Meanwhile, a flag meeting was organized and the BGB has assured to take action against the two guards for illegally entering Rongara in South Garo Hills.
