Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 9 : Another 38 new Covid cases were detected on Sunday taking the total number of cases in the state to 1062 .
However , a total of 27 patients were discharged today after full recovery .

Among the 38 new cases 18 were from East Khasi Hills District which includes 2 from Air Force and 16 general public and 20 cases from Ri Bhoi District which includes 7 from Air Force and 13 general public .
Among the 27 recoveries , 25 patients are from from East Khasi Hills District and all from BSF and 2 from Ri -Bhoi district .
