Shillong ( Meghalaya ),Aug 11 : 21 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state on Tuesday taking the total number of active cases to 621.

Out of the 21 new cases , West Garo Hills reported 7 cases and all are from BSF , East khasi Hills reported 6 cases which includes 2 from CRPF , 1 from Armed Forces and 3 general , Ri Bhoi District reported 6, West Jaintia Hills 1 and South Wast Khasi Hills 1 .
A total of 11 patients were discharged today after their recovery .
