Imphal(Manipur), July 12 :With 15 deaths reported on Monday, the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in Manipur has reached 1,287.
In the past twenty-four hours, 890 persons were confirmed as new COVID-19 positive cases, according to the Health Department. Imphal West remains the major contributor of daily spike with 347 new cases.

On Monday, 590 persons were discharged, taking the recovery rate to 88.79 per cent. Out of 78,621 total infections, 69,814 individuals have recovered. There are now 7,520 active cases in the state.
As per the latest information, 8,76,274 persons have been vaccinated in the state. Manipur has a population of above 30 lakhs.
