Shillong ( Meghalaya), March 12 : The Meghalaya government has urged citizens not to panic over LPG supply, saying the state has sufficient stock. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Methodius Dkhar reviewed the situation with officials and oil marketing companies, prioritizing essential institutions.

Hotel and eatery owners have appealed for commercial LPG cylinder supply restoration, hit by West Asia conflicts. The government warned of action under the Essential Commodities Act against hoarding or black marketing.
