Guwahati (Assam) , May 9 : A student of Regional Dental College in Guwahati has tested positive for novel coronavirus on Friday, health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a tweet .
Minister Sarma tweeted at 11.55 pm : “Alert ~ One student of Regional Dental College, Kamrup Metro has tested #COVID19 positive. Total #COVID19 patients in Assam 59 Active cases 24 Discharged 34,” Sarma said in a late night tweet on Friday.
