Kokrajhar (Assam) , April 11: A huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from different parts of Kokrajhar and Chirang districts on Monday morning.

The arms and ammunition were recovered from Ultapani of Kokrajhar district and Selekhaguri of Chirang district in last 24 hours.
The recovery included four nos AK 47 riffles with magazines, one M-16 Rifle, one Sniper Rifle with magazine, one Serily Rifle with magazine and 130 rounds of ammunition of AK series.
Special DGP, Dr L R Bishnoi said that the arms belonged to the miscreants who were recently trying to form a new armed outfit but finally returned to the mainstream.
