Kokrajhar (Assam) ,Dec 3: Assam state BJP chief Ranjeet Kumar Dass has requested his party members to vote against BPF in the BTC council elections where saffron party has not put up candidates .
On Thursday ,,BJP chief Dass while addressing an election campaign at Daloabari tea estate ground under Banargaon constituency,said that his party has fielded candidates in 26 constituencies and is supporting an independent candidate at Srirampur constituency in the council elections.
Dass said that BJP discontinued their alliance with BPF due massive corruption and anomalies in Bodoland Territorial Council and found it unethical to continue the alliance in BTC administration.
He has alleged that BPF has totally failed to work for welfare and development of the common areas in last 17 years rule in BTAD administration.
He reaffirmed that his saffron party is winning with absolute majority to form the next BTC council.
He advised his party men to vote in favour of like minded independent candidates or other candidates those who can bring well-being to the society.
BJP chief Dass also addressed election campaigning’s at Baukhungri,Debargaon and Kachugaon constituencies in Kokrajhar district.
Meanwhile,UPPL party leaders including central organizing secretary of UPPL and noted model Kiron Boro and Vidhyadhar Brahma Choudhury campaigned at Swrang High School ground in support of fBaukhungri constituency candidate Pratibha Brahma.
Boro said that her party has been emphasizing on integration and tranquility amongst the society for paving way for healthy development .
She has urged upon all sections of society to vote in favour of UPPL party candidates for parivartan .
