Guwahati(Assam), Oct 22 : 508 new Covid cases were detected in the state today taking the total number of cases in the state to 203282.
7 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections today taking the death toll to 896.
Health Minister , H B Sarma informed that 508 cases were detected out of 34375 tests conducted today , with a positivity rate of 1.48%.

He said Kamrup Metro recorded 101 new cases while 1584 patients were discharged today from various hospitals after recovery .
