Guwahati (Assam), May 31 : A total of 159 people which includes 20 air passengers tested Covid poistive today taking the total numbers to 1216.
Health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said while 20 of the infected persons came to the state by air, 11 others are from Morigaon district.

Earlier ,85 new cases of #COVID19+ were reported in the evening which included 26 from Kokrajhar & Chirang, 20 from Hailakandi, 13 from Kamrup, 13 from Dibrugarh, 9 from Jorhat, 2 each from Golaghat and Cachar.
The minister tweeted on Saturday night ,”📌Alert ~ 31 new cases of #COVID19+. 20 Air travellers, Morigaon 11.”
