Assam Covid cases cross 700 mark with 18 cases on Wednesday afternoon , Tally 704

Guwahati (Assam), May 27 : The state registered 18 more new Covid cases this afternoon and the figure has mounted to 704 .

State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that among the new 18 cases 14 cases are from Golaghat,2 from Karbi Anglong and 1 from Lakhimpur.

So far, 62 Covid patients have been released from various hospitals after their complete recovery and the active cases stand at 635 .

The Health Minister tweeted at 1.50 pm , ”📌Alert ~ 18 new cases of #COVID19+ incl first air carrier, a resident of Kamrup Metro, who travelled from Ahmedabad to Guwahati; 14 Golaghat, 2 Karbi Anglong, 1 Lakhimpur.”
