Assam Covid -19 : 73 more fatalities , 5835 fresh cases reported

Guwahati ( Assam), May 18 : 73 more Covid -19 patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours .

In a tweet CM, Himata Biswa Sarma informed that 5835 new cases were detected in the last 24 hours out of which 921 new cases were from Kamrup (Metro)

.
These cases were reported from 90, 251 tests conducted .

The overall positivity percentage for the day was 6.47 % and the recovery rate 85.31%.
