Guwahati(Assam), June30 : There has been slight improvement in the Covid -19 situation in the state.
In tweet , Chief Minister Dr. H B Sarma confirmed that a total of 3245 news cases were detected in the past 24 hours out of which 422 cases were reported from Kamrup ( Metro) .
These cases were detected after conducting 71598 tests .
The overall positivity percentage for the day was 4.53% and the recovery rate was 85.97%.
On Sunday CM Sarma visited Guwahati Medical College Hospital to review the medical facilities & took updates on 200-bed ICU.
He also discussed arrangements for deputing doctors at the upcoming 300-bed ICU at Sarusajai DRDO hospital & 200 new ICU beds at GMCH.
