Guwahati (Assam), Aug 8 : A total of 8 Covid patients succumbed to their infections today in the state taking the death toll to 140.

The patients have been identified as Mahan Talukdar (45) & Azizur Rahman (52), Nalbari; Narayan Chandra Deka (54) & Dulu Paul (50), Tinsukia; Turab Ali (48), Morigaon; Sufala Gogoi (46), Kokrajhar; Khanindra Nath (55), Nagaon; Prakash Jain (60), Dibrugarh.
