Kokrajhar (Assam),Dec 8 : 3 cabinet rank ministers in the state and belonging to the BPF would soon be shown the way , said Assam state BJP chief Ranjeet Kumar Dass.
Dass who is camping in Kokrajhar for BTC elections on Monday said that his party is confident of winning 15 seats of the 21 constituencies in the first phase of BTC council elections held in Baksa and Udalguri districts.
He said BPF had indulged in massive corruption and anomalies in their 17 year of rule in BTAD administration in all aspects .
“BPF is an opportunstic party and has been maintaining relationship with Congress-AIUDF in the region.” Dass said .
Dass was confident that BJP is forming the next BTC council by winning majority of the the seats in BTAD administration and the party was committed for people’s welfare and development services in the area.
Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal also addressed an election meeting at Kalipukhuri under Salakati constituency in support of the party candidate Kabita Basumatary in Kokrajhar district.
Sonowal said BJP party is committed to bring corruption free society in the BTC council administration.
He alleged that BPF has totally failed to work for welfare and development of the citizens in their 17 years of rule in the BTAD administration.
“BJP is working with the slogan of “sabka sath sabka vikash and sabka biswas” across the country since it was voted at centre and state and accordingly the people from BTC region are also getting massive welfare and development benefits “, Sonowal said.He said people have been deprived of their due rights and welfare due to the misruled in the BTAD administration by the BPF party.
He said that BJP party is forming BTC administration by winning majority of the seats in the BTAD administration to work for integration and tranquility amongst the society.
He promised that the BJP will accord ST status to the Koch Rajbongshis and Adivashis in the days to come.
Assam Health and Education minister and NEDA convenor Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed an election rally at Hogomabill under Dotma constituency in support of party candidate Bibhuti Borgoyary.
