Guwahati(Assam), June 24 : A total of 203 new Covid cases were detected across the state on Tuesday taking the total number of cases in the state to 6056 .
The District Administration today imposed total lockdown in 11 wards of Guwahati city due sudden rise of Covid cases in the city .
The Government also cautioned everyone to adopt adequate steps to combat the the dadly virus by the following the guidelines as per Covid protocols .
Meanwhile , the govt in a statement clarfied Guwahati Ward wise Lockdown will be for 14 Days duration .
Assam Health Minister , Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted at 11.40 pm , “📌Alert ~ 203 new #COVID19+ cases detected in Assam today.”
