Shillong(Meghalaya), June 5 : On the occasion of World Environment Day, Raj Bhavan Shillong, under the leadership of the Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan, organized a cleaning drive within the premises of Raj Bhavan, actively involving all the staff members.
The collective effort was aimed to ensure a clean and hygienic environment while fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature.

In addition to the cleaning drive, the Governor took a significant step towards environmental preservation by planting five tree saplings in the lawn of Raj Bhavan here .
