Tura (Meghalaya), March 15: The District Magistrate of West Garo Hills has advised government employees to exercise restraint on social media, banning incendiary or provocative posts amid rising tensions.
The order prohibits sharing content that could spark public reaction or resentment, with violators facing legal action and disciplinary proceedings under the Meghalaya Civil Services Rules, 2019.
