Shillong (Meghalaya), Jan 31 : The states COVID-19 tally rose to 91,094 on Monday as 210 more people tested positive for the infection, stated a press statement issued by the Health department .
Four more patients succumbed to the infection, pushing the northeastern state’s coronavirus death toll to 1,526 .
While two deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , one each was registered in Ri Bhoi and West Garo Hills .
East Khasi Hills district, under which Shillong falls, recorded the highest number of 124 new cases, followed by 32 in West Garo Hills, and 12 in Ri-Bhoi.
A total of 246 patients were declared recovered on Monday .
The active cases now stand at 2,313.
