Shillong ( Meghalaya), Aug 3 : The state logged 101 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday taking the total number of active cases up to 696. The state also registered 80 cases of recovery.
West Garo Hills has a maximum of 40 cases followed by 24 in East Khasi Hills.

One more patient succumbed to his infections today taking the death toll to 1607.
A total of 56 patients are presently undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the state .
