Shillong ( Meghalaya), Aug 4 : In the fight against crime against property, on 2/8/22 Sector Officer Rynjah Smti Joyti Wahlang , P Syiem IC Nongthymmai along with Spl Party Rynjah Police conducted join patrolling at Nongthymmai area of the city and managed to apprehend two habitual persons: Wanstep Lyngdoh 2 of Nongrim Hills and Banroplang Jyrwa of Rngijynriew Neng Nongthymmai .
They admitted of their involvement in the burglary of Rynjah PS Case No.117(07)2022 U/S 454/380 IPC and sold the stolen items to someone in Ïewmawlong.
On 3.08.22, with the help of J Wahlang IC Cantonment and his Special Party Abdul Motalif of Mawlonghat was apprehended and recovered the following stolen items 1 Asus laptop, 2 HP laptops, 1 Dell laptop, 1 Canon Power shot SX430 IS, 1 Canon camera IXUS, 1 VIVO mobile phone.
