Shillong (Meghalaya), July 29: The 134th Indian Oil Durand Cup is heating up, with city rivals Shillong Lajong FC and Rangdajied FC set to face off in the highly anticipated Shillong Derby at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Tuesday. The match kicks off at 7 PM, promising an electrifying spectacle for football fans.
Shillong Lajong, last year’s semifinalists, are riding high after a strong start to the tournament, having secured victories in their opening matches. They’ll look to continue their winning streak against Rangdajied FC, who have had a mixed campaign so far.
In another match, Jamshedpur FC will take on Indian Army FT at the JRD Tata Sports Complex at 4 PM. Jamshedpur FC are looking to build on their 3-2 win over Tribhuvan Army FC in their opening match, while Indian Army FT will aim to bounce back from their narrow defeat to Mohammedan Sporting.
