Shillong (Meghalaya), Aug 22: The success of the Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2021 has resounded again, as the festival wins big, with three awards in prominent categories at the recently concluded Wow Awards Asia 2022 at Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai .
WOW Awards Asia is the most reputed and recognized platform in the world of events, encompassing almost every aspect of the event industry in Asia and the Middle East.
It is an initiative of EVENTFAQs in collaboration EEMA and KPMG India, as the process advisors and evaluators. The judging process has been further strengthened by having top industry professionals from around the world on the judging panel.
The Awards received were in the categories of:
“Festival of the Year-Art/Culture/Lifestyle” – GOLD Award
“Best Tourism Event” – GOLD Award
“Concert of the year” – SILVER Award.
The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2021 was organized by Meghalaya Tourism and managed by Rockski EMG.
The organizers attributed the success of the festival to all those involved in the festival, without whose rigorous and wholehearted effort the recognition would not have been possible.
