Shillong ( Meghalaya ), Feb 14 : Scam -tainted former Assistant Inspector General of Meghalaya Police GK Iangrai was arrested by the CID today, February 14, sonn after his release in connection with the alleged misappropriation of funds in the construction of the National Emergency Response System at Sadar Police Station Complex in here .
Highly placed sources told South Asia Views that he was granted bail by the court in two cases — NERS case and another related to the supply of dry ration.

Soon after his release from Shillong district jail today, he was arrested for a third case by CID officials.
Sources further informed South Asia views that a total of six cases are registered against him .
