Shillong ( Meghalaya), Feb 18 : The National People’s Party (NPP) will emerge as the single-largest party in Meghalaya after the Assembly elections in the state.

This was claimed by NPP national president and chief minister of Conrad Sangma while interacting with journalists here today .
Commenting on the allegations of corruption made against the the present government , Sangma said that such allegations are a regular feature just before the elections across the country and added that enquires have been done and reports submitted .
