Nongpoh (Meghalaya ), Aug 20: Based on specific intelligence inputs , Ri Bhoi Police apprehended one vehicle at Byrnihat Police Outpost and seized huge quantity of explosives suspected of carrying explosives on Friday early morning at 1:10AM.
Police seized huge quantity of explosives from the vehicle (TUV 300) bearing registration number AS-01-BV-8065 .
The driver , Moinul Hoque hailing from Kamrup district, Assam was also arrested.

The seizure included Aluminum Instantaneous Electric Detonator Class-6, Division-3= 2044 numbers and Neo Gel (Gelatine Sticks)= 4027 Nos.
