Meghalaya Covid -19 : 9 more deaths , new cases at 457

Shillong ( Meghalaya), July 6 : 9 more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 880 .

5 deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , 2 from Ri Bhoi and 1 each from West Khasi Hills and West Jaintia Hills .

A total of 457 new cases were detected on Tuesday with Ri Bhoi on the top with 154 cases followed by East Khasi Hills with 99 new cases .

497 patients were also discharged today after full recovery .

The active cases now stand at 4,305 .
