      Shillong (Meghalaya), July 25 : 9 fresh Covid cases were detected here on Saturday taking the total number of cases to 596.

      However , the active cases stand at 497 after 95 patients were released after recovery .

      Among the 9 new cases today , 5 are of BSF personnel and 4 from general public .

      7 Covid patients were also discharged today after full recovery .
