Shillong (Meghalaya), July 16 : Five more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the state in the last 24 hours taking the death toll 931.
While three deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , one each was reported from East Jaintia Hills and South West Khasi Hills .

On Friday , 441 fresh Covid cases were detected in the state with East Khasi Hills on the top with 152 cases followed by West Garo Hills with 126 .
A total of 264 patients were also discharged today after full recovery .
The active cases as of now stand at 4,166.
