Shillong ( Meghalaya), July 12 : Five more Covid patients succumbed to their infections in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 913 .
While three deaths were reported from East Khasi Hills , one each was from West Garo Hills and South Garo Hills .
According to the figures released by the health department , 273 new cases were detected on Monday with East Khasi Hills on the top with 98 cases followed by Ri Bhoi with 55 cases and West Garo Hills with 51 cases .

A total of 523 patients were discharged today after full recovery .
The active cases as of now stands at 4,110 .
