Tura(Meghalaya), June 9: South Garo Hills (SGH) police yesterday, arrested a 20 -year- old boy after he allegedly ran away with a 15 -year- old in the district.

While information is still unclear, police sources said that the 20- year -old had run off with the 15 -year -old girl after which a case of sexual assault was filed by the parents of the girl.
The 20- year -old was then taken into custody.
“The matter is currently under investigation and a case on the matter has been registered,” confirmed superintendent of police, South Garo Hills , Rithuraj Ravi.
