Shillong (Meghalaya), June 2 : Two more persons have tested Covid positive in the state today taking the total number of cases to 30.
Confirming the cases , Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that both the residents had returned from UP and were under quarantine at Chibinang in West Garo Hills district of the state .
With the 2 fresh cases ,the total number of active cases in the state now stands at 17.
The Chief Minister tweeted on Tuesday evening , “Two more residents of Meghalaya who had returned from Uttar Pradesh have tested positive for COVID19. Both of them are under quarrantine in Chibinang, West Garo Hills District. Total cases : 30 out of which Active cases are 17.”
