Shillong ( Meghalaya), Sep 24 : Malki secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Nongrim Hills in the Shillong Premier League 2025 at the SSA Stadium. Ribanshan Marpna’s impressive left-footer from just inside the box in the 68th minute proved to be the decisive factor, curling neatly into the back of the net out of reach of Nongrim Hills’ goalkeeper Ebenson Warbah.
The win lifted Malki out of the relegation zone and propelled them to sixth place in the standings.
The match, originally scheduled for September 12, was postponed due to heavy rain and waterlogging of the pitch. Despite both teams showing some rustiness after a week-long break, Ribanshan’s goal showcased his skill and precision, proving to be the difference-maker in the closely contested match.
