Shillong ( Meghalaya), Oct 23 : Laitkor SC produced a stunning 23-0 victory over Lapalang SSCC in the Meghalaya Women’s State League 2025 at the SSA Stadium here . Iaraplang Nongrum was the star performer, scoring an incredible 11 goals, while her teammates Ilenaki Laloo, Saralin Warlarpih, Inrila-i-dor Khongthaw, Eiladki Ksoo, and Ibashisha Khongwet added to the tally.
Despite the one-sided scoreline, Lapalang players showed great sportsmanship, shaking hands and hugging their opponents after the final whistle. This win has seen Laitkor SC return to the top of Group A.
In other matches, Jakrem SC secured a 3-1 win over Young SSCC in Group B, with Banhunlang Synrem, Banrihun Wahlang, and Iaphishisha Marbaniang scoring for the winners. With four teams already qualifying for the quarterfinals, the remaining fixtures are expected to be intense. The final matches in Group A will feature Attacker’s Youth Club against Lapalang and Laitkor SC against Pay For Right Football Academy.
