Shillong (Meghalaya), Dec 18: Moolamylliang Christmas Lights Extravaganza 2023 was inaugurated today at Moolamylliang Village, East Jaintia Hills District by Dr W. R Kharlukhi, Rajya Sabha MP, Meghalaya in the presence of Smti. Santa Mary Shylla, MLA, Sutnga-Saipung Legislative Assembly Constituency, Director of Information and Public Relations, Government of Meghalaya, Malthus Sangma and other dignitaries.
Starting today, string lights along with other decorative lightings which will be lighted every evening from 5 PM to 12 Midnight till Jan 3, 2024 are set to attract tourists who each year throng Moolamylliang to get firsthand experiences of its greenery, cleanliness and the Christmas decorations the village is renowned for.
