Shillong ( Meghalaya ) , May 25 : A meeting to assess the Covid scenario in the State was held today.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma informed that the DC s Office here has done a recce of Govt. buildings to be temporarily converted into Corona Care Centers or Isolation Centres in Shillong.

He has also instructed them to chalk out final plan to execute the same.
In a tweet he also informed that discussions were held on the issue of expenditure faced by patients in private hospitals and plight of families of Covid deceased.
In the next 48 Hrs, he directed the Health Department to work out a solution to help patients and assistance that may be extended from the Govt. to the families.
