Shillong (Meghalaya), Jan 18 : Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma and Thomas Sangma has been elected unopposed as National President and National Secretary of National People’s Party today, Jan, 18, 2022 .
The party election was held at the NPP Office at Lower Lachumiere here .

The Election Returning Officer, Abhay Kashyap declared the results in the presence of party functionaries.
Conrad while thanking his party workers said , “I am humbled and grateful to be re-elected as National President of the National People’s Party. Thank all our party members for reaffirming their trust in my leadership. Each member has a significant role to play in our collective mission as a party. We are stronger together.”
