Shillong (Meghalaya ), July 29 :Former Home Minister , musician, poet and a popular personality Robert G Lyngdoh passed away this morning today at his residence here .
Two weeks back , ‘Bah Bob’ was admitted in the intensive care unit (ICU) of Bethany hospital here after his condition turned critical .
The musician turned -politician had after a gap of 13 years made a political comeback on Sep 16, 2021 .

His father Late P G Marbaniang was also a legislator and academician . He was a Lok Sabha MP from 1989 to 1996 and also a Minister and Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
R. G . Lyngdoh was unwell for quite sometime and was considered to be one of the most strong Home Ministers of Meghalaya.
