Shillong (Meghalaya), Jan 25: SP City, Vivek Syiem and two others from Meghalaya police will be conferred the Medal for Meritorious Service (MMS) by the Centre on Republic Day 2024.
The awards will be presented to the Police personnel along with the Police personnel of the other states on Jan 26 for their distinguished service to the nation.
Following is the list of the Meghalaya Police personnel who will be receiving the award:

John M Sangma , AB-Inspector, Meghalaya
Teibor Sumer , Havildar , Meghalaya
HOME GUARD & CIVIL DEFENCE:
Smt . Aniosca Basaiawmoit, Senior Instructor, Meghalaya
On the occasion of the Republic Day, 2024, a total of 1132 personnel of Police, Fire Service, Home Guard & Civil Defence and Correctional Service have been awarded Gallantry/Service Medals.
