Shillong (Meghalaya ) , JUly 15: Two more arrests were made by the East Jaintia Hills police today in connection with the murder of four persons whose bodies were recovered by police at Umpleng on July 6 last.
EJH SP,Giri Prasad in a press note informed that altogether three persons have been arrested so far and added that the details of the arrested are not being disclosed are right now in the interest of investigation.
On July 6 last, four bodies were found in Umpleng with multiple injuries and with their hands tied.
The victims were identified as Ravi Rai (23) of Patha Elam, Nepal, Rajesh Rai (26) from Koshi, Anchal, Nepal and Nasar Kyndait (33) of Dkhiah East Pohshnong, East Jaintia Hills District and Loba Tamang from Umpleng in East Jaintia Hills district.
