Shillong(Meghalaya) , April 2: The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) marked its 51st Foundation Day, commemorating over five decades of dedicated service to India’s energy sector. The event was celebrated with a ceremonial Guard of Honour and flag hoisting at the Corporate Office.
Chairman & Managing Director lauded NEEPCO’s remarkable journey, highlighting its significant contributions to the power sector, particularly in the North Eastern Region. NEEPCO was described as the hydro arm of NTPC, strengthening India’s renewable energy portfolio.
Director (Finance) , B. Maharana expressed pride in NEEPCO’s transformation into a key pillar of India’s energy landscape. A documentary showcased the company’s evolution and milestones, followed by the inauguration of the Vigilance Bulletin.
