Moreh (Manipur -Myanmar Boder), Nov 4: Combined security forces on Saturday detained seven people with ammunition and combat dresses in Moreh. It is reported that a team of special commando unit, Moreh Commando, 5th Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB), Thoubal Commando, Kakching Commando and 5th Assam Rifles (AR) launched the search operation at Moreh Border hill areas namely Ziong Veng, Yangoukpokpi, Seijang and Mongjang village.
The seven people who were detained in the operation are identified asNetingam Lupho (55) of Yangoupokpi, village, Moreh; Jangkhohao Lupho (45) of yangoupoki village, Moreh; George Holkhosat khongsai(20) of Joldan village (Munno veng_Ward no. 7), Letgoulen Doungel (25) of Zion Veng (near hospital, Jangkhohao haokip (34) of Zion veng (near hospital), Nengimao of Namphalong , Burma and Jangkhomang Baite (21) of Muannom Veng, Moreh.
In the search operations gun cartridge 102 numbers of round, gun powder about (10 gm), one Chinese Hand Grenade, suspected Sulphur powder about (60 gm), four mobile phones, one camouflage jacket, four Identity cards and Aadhar card, suspected materials ( Amonium nitrated of about 2525 gm were recovered.
