Assam : 9-year-old boy tests Corona positive in Jorhat ; tally rises to 96

Guwahati (Assam), May 17 : A nine-year-old boy tested positive for COVID-19 in Jorhat today taking the total number of positive cases to 96 in the state .

State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted this afternoon, “A 9-year-old boy from Ward No 3 of #Jorhat, and who came from Delhi, has tested #COVID positive. He is now in Jorhat Medical College & Hospital.”
