Kokrajhar (Assam),Mar 31: UPPL president and BTR CEM Pramod Boro said that he is hopeful that BJP led NDA alliance party’s candidates are winning majority of the seats across the state to form state government in the state.
On Wednesday ,Boro said that UPPL and NDA alliance parties are getting massive support cutting across community lines in the state.
He informed that NDA alliance party’s candidates are getting huge response from all quarters of the society.
” We hope that NDA alliance will be defeat the Congress led Mahajoth in the state”,Boro said.
” There is no impact of Mahajoth in the assembly elections”, Boro said.
Union Agricultural minister and senior BJP leader Narendra Singh Tomar also expressed his confidence that the BJP led NDA alliance candidates will emerge victorious across the state to form the government in the state for the second term .
“Congress led Mahajoth no meaning in the state of Assam. The so -called Mahajoth’s claim and influence does not stand in today’s hour”,Union minister Tomar added.
On the other hand, BPF president Hagrama Mohilary has claimed that his party is winning majority seats across the BTC districts in the assembly elections.
He said that people from the different communities are coming forward to extend support to the Mahajoth in the state to form the next government.
The Kamatapur Autonomous Council (KAC) and All Koch Rajbongshi Students Union (AKRSU) have announced their decision to support to the UPPL and it’s alliance parties in the ongoing Assam assembly elections across the region.
Chairman of KAC Hiteswar Barman, AKRSU president Arun Roy, KAC executive members Pradip Roy and Jivesh Roy while addressing reporters at a press conference held here today announced that the KAC and AKRSU are unitedly extending support to the UPPL and it’s alliance parties in the BTR areas in the ongoing assembly elections.
They said that their aim is to build a united and integrated society in the region.
They are hopeful that the UPPL and it’s alliance party’s candidates are winning all contesting constituencies across the region with with majority votes.
They have urged all sections of the common masses to vote in favor of UPPL and it’s alliance parties in the assembly elections.
Meanwhile, UPPL candidate for Kokrajhar East constituency Lawrence Islary has expressed his confidence of winning in the assembly election with massive support by defeating sitting BPF MLA and Assam Social welfare minister Pramila Rani Brahma.
Islary,who was former general secretary of ABSU and one of signatories of BTR accord while addressing an election campaign at Bhotgaon on Wednesday in Kokrajhar, said that he is contesting the assembly elections with the support of the common citizens .He also welcomed the decision of the Kamatapur Autonomous Council and AKRSU to extend support to the UPPL and it’s alliance parties in the assembly elections.
He said that this time people cutting across the communities are coming forward to extend their support to the candidatures of UPPL for good governance and welfare.
He has alleged that six times serving MLA and minister Pramila Rani Brahma has failed to work for the people’s welfare and development in Kokrajhar East constituency till date.He said that this time Pramila Rani Brahma will face severe defeat as she never thought for the welfare of the common masses.
