Guwahati( Assam), Dec 11 : Legendary footballer, Late Diego Maradona’s Hublot watch which was stolen from a safe in Dubai recovered from a criminal in Assam on Saturday . According to reports the accused Wazid Hussain who was working as a security guard in Dubai has stolen the luxury watch .
Informing the developments CM , Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted that Assam Police, in coordination with the Dubai Police, has recovered a stolen luxury watch that belonged to late Diego Maradona, The accused, identified as Wazid Hussein, has been arrested in Assam and further legal action will be taken as per law .
He said the Assam Police coordinated with the Dubai Police through Indian federal law enforcement agencies to recover the heritage Hublot watch that belonged to Argentinian football player Diego Maradona.
DGP, Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta tweeted , ”A costly Hublot watch… Maradona… Dubai… Assam Police Looks like random words, don’t they?
But today all these words came together nicely, stating a story of successful International Cooperation between #DubaiPolice and Assam Police .”
As informed through Central Agency by Dubai Police, one Wazid Hussain had stolen a limited edition Maradona signed Hublot watch and fled to Assam.

He added as informed through Central Agency by Dubai Police, one Wazid Hussain from Assam had stolen a limited edition Maradona signed Hublot watch that belonged to the legend himself and fled to Assam.

The watch belonging to the legendary Football player himself, was being stored in Dubai along with other belongings in a safe.
