Kokrajhar (Assam),Oct 17: 19 -year old Kokrajhar girl , Alisha brought brought her remote village , Barupara to focus by successfully cracking the all India National Eligibility Entrance Test( NEET) competitive examination-2020 on Friday.
Alisha Hussain hailing from remote Baruapara of Kokrajhar, scored 592 marks out of 720 in the NEET entrance for medical courses. She is the daughter of Majidur Hussain and Sultana Mehejabin.
Her father , Majidur Hussain is a general duty soldier in Border Securing Force(BSF) and is now posted at Siliguri in West Bengal .
Alisha passed her HSLC and HS school(science) from New Bongaigaon Kendriya Vidyalaya in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
After completion of her HS final examination, Alisha underwent specialized coaching at a Lalan’s coaching centre in Guwahati for one year.
This was Alisha’s second attempt .In 2019,she couldn’t succeed in NEET entrance test.
She has devoted the whole year in her studies and successfully cracked the NEET entrance test.
Family members including her octogenarian grandmother Mojiton Bewa has expressed their happiness over her results .Kokrajhar district unit of Goria Moria Desi Jatiya Parishad have also extended felicitation for her successful come out in the national level test.
Alisha said that her dream was to become a doctor in her life since childhood.
She extended her gratitude and sincere thanks to her parents and well wishers who have encouraged her to sit for the exam .
She said after completion of her medical course she shall reach out to the poor people and serve them .
“I am very much excited that my granddaughter cracked the NEET test. I do hope,she will be a successful doctor in her life”,said Alisha’s grandmother Mojiton Bewa,who is 74 years old.
