Kokrajhar (Assam ),May 27 : Security forces nabbed four youths along with arms on Tuesday morning from different areas under Tamulpur police station in Assam’s Baksa district.
According to police sources ,a joint team comprising of Tamulpur police,Darangamela police and Indian army carried out search operations at different places along the Indo-Bhutan border under Darangamela police outpost in Baksa district and were able to apprehend four youths from different three areas in the district.
Security team,firstly carried out search operations at Menkok tea estate near Darangamela late night where one youth identified as Jawan Kandakar was nabbed .
After extracting more information from him , another operations was conducted at Palashbari and Patkijuli area and the combined team were able to arrest three more youths from the area .
They have been identified as Budan Kishan,Jiten Lakra and Abhiram Thirki.
Two 7.65 pistol,four live bullets were recovered from their possession .
The arrested members are former members of the Birsa Commando Force,a militant organisation from Adivasi community which is in ceasefire with the government.
