Guwahati (Assam), Aug 21 : 6 more serious Covid patients succumbed to their infections on Friday at various hospitals across the state taking the death toll 226 .

The patients have been identified as Madhai Saha aged 53 of Dhubri; Kameswar Lahkar aged 55 years of Barpeta; Kamal Krishan Mahanta aged 47 years of Kamrup R; Haripad Deb Nath aged 55 years of Hailakandi; Bidhu Bhushan Das aged 57 years of Cachar & Late Sahida Khatun aged 43 of Dibrugarh.
